Latest project

along being the principal at her school this year Jan is also teaching several days a week in what in my time was the infant room 5-7 year olds for her birthday I agreed to make her a new felt board set, that idea has grown into four sets one for use in each school term this year. its fun being able to create something she will enjoy using. I had made the Hungry Butterfly set for her for Christmas so it became set 1. the others we agreed on are. term 2 the Gruffalo term 3 Goldilocks and the three bears 4 where the wild things are... this last set is started as it was what we had agreed for her birthday gift. I have just completed the set for the Gruffalo, Barryn introduced me to this book some years ago and I made Finn a set of finger puppets at that time here is the set for Jan, i think the mouse is my favourite

Party planning

the photo book for Eve this year is to be ...... the Adventures of Poppy.... starting with Poppy's birthday party. its been fun planning something different from last years party, first up has been new dresses for both the dolls.

now I am making party hats will try and post these in a few days time

Easter Greetings

there are eggs, bunnies and chickens what more do we neec for Easter. managed to get some photos taken before Kaytu realise all the goods on the table to make the display would make great play things, need I say there is not much in decorations left up for Easter. Wishing everyone best wishes and blessings for Easter.

I have a problem

 I have a problem with my blog Notes from under the mountain it has been hit by a hacker her has added a virus…. As yet I have not solved the problem of how to delete the problem so hoping I can post through this blog that I used in the post for more crafting news. 

 I will be sad if I can’t get the other blog bach as I have been writing under the heading of Notes from under the mountain  since I move to Stratford in 2001 which was before I started blogging and that was 2009  I will do a short post to check and see if google will recognise this blog.

 Guild this week we had a fun challenge of a donsay of gnomes this was the result of all the gnomes I made for Jan for Christmas .  they were great all so different yet all had the same size polystyrene ball as a base and the same basic pattern  here is mine I’ve yet to give him e a name.
